This H-shaped house was built in 1969 by Calvin and Irene Reeves. The African-American couple were very active in the community and enjoyed entertaining guests, often hosting dinner parties. Irene preferred to cook alone, so she designed the galley kitchen herself to have everything within reach. In 2015, a mutual friend introduced us (the Ehab family) to the Reeves’ nephew, who had inherited the house. He agreed to let us purchase it off the market. We have put in a lot of TLC to redesign and decorate the place as a guest house with individually-themed bedrooms. You can rent single bedrooms here or the entire house (click here).
